If a multiswitch is used outside to combine signals... |

The basic satellite multi-switch (3X4 and 3X8) and the the multi-satellite multiswitch (5X8) have the capability of combining satellite signals with signals from either an off-air antenna or cable TV feed. Those signals (frequencies) must be separated inside before they enter the satellite receiver. This 3X4 MULTI-SWITCH wiring diagram shows a basic installation using a round 18-inch dish to connect four satellite receivers. Combining the signals outside and routing them down a single coaxial cable, rather than running two individual coaxial drops, greatly reduces the cost of labor and installation materials. | |
| So, where can I purchase these multiswitches and diplexers? |
